My buddy just picked up a Blaster and put some 18 inch Shredders on it, he bought a 14 tooth countershaft and I'm trying to get it all dialed in for him.Anyone with 18s what gearing are you running successfully on your Blaster? Thank you.

the best gearing for running with 18" tires in mx asuming you have enough power would be 14t front 37 tooth rear..

i did use a 14 tooth with my 18 inch turf tamers but i switched back to the stock gearing. with the 14 i could never get the holeshot. on the mx track you want to have all the accelaration you can. how often do you get up to top speed on the mx track. i was thinking of trying a 12 tooth eventually and see what happens.

I guess if you were to have the power 14/37 would be Ideal, but I must agree with mxer911 in saying the most practical gearing would be 14/39 (thats what I am currently useing)and it really compliments the close ratio gear box's of the blaster
