I was out rideing this afternoon and I hit a water wash out that was abought a foot deep, and had square walls on it at abought 30 mph. At first I dident think I did anything to the machine and continued riding. Abought an hour later I stoped for a brake and noticed the tie rod had a slight bend in it. Should I replace them with stock units or is there any after market ones availible that would be better? Thanks for any info.

The stock one bends for a reason, too keep from breaking other parts. If the tie rod was stronger the force that bent it will have to go some other place. On a trailside you can bend the stock one back and limp back home. With a stronger tie rod you might break the steering steam or break the wheel hub. Both are all most imposable to fix trailside with out a welder.
