Blown out spark arrester

Blew my spark arrester out of my fmf slip on.Know if i have a after market cdi and i go back to my stock exhaust will this hurt any thing? thanks for any info>

I wouldn't think it hurt anything. You'll just stop making power earlier w/o the slip-on, that's all.

E-Mail FMF, blowing the spark arrester out does not sound quite right. They are a pretty decent company, see if they'll hook you up or anything. If nothing else, it never hurts to ask.

I called FMF and they said to send it back to them.So that's what i did, they said there slip on has a one year warranty.It just suck to have to go back to the stock muff.I can realy tell the diff between the FMF& stock.
