Noisy fan that sometimes stops on my 00 SP500. Also overheats due to lack of air speed.

I could'nt stand the noisy fan any longer so I took it apart. Suprise Suprise the dern thang had water in it. There was also quite a bit of the black powder from where ever that accompanys most electrical motors. Anyway that and the water had formed a paste and it covered every thing. All 4 brushes werrre worn diffrently: one looked preety good, the other 3 looked bad one was almost gone. It was a pain to get apart because of all the RTV that was used in the assembly, so I'm not sure how the water got in. It didn't go thru the RTV so the only thing I can figure is it seeped around the output bearing while under water. Any way I cleaned it up, put it back together and it works fine. Question is how long will the brushes last and do they make a rebuild kit we can get our hands on?

Quoted a price for a new fan? 135.00
sounds way steep considering what you actually get.
also quoted 80.00 for inner and outer tie rod ends.
Finally 30.00 for belt.
Does anybody need any work done? I need money.
Uncle Sam just doesn't pay enough for the family and my hobbies.
