Does anyone know of a good dealer in Missouri to find a great deal on a DS 650? I live in mid missouri and my local dealer offered me $5900 for a new 2000 model. Is this a good deal? Anyone with info please reply. thanx

I'm seeing people talk about getting NEW 2001's for $5500 out the door, so if I were you, I might look around some more. If you can find one of the dealers selling a 2001 for $5500-6000, that would be a deal no one could pass up. As far as Missouri specifically, I can't help you other than to point you to Bombardier's website. On their website they have a dealer locator and you could locate all the Bombardier ATV dealers nearest you, then call them and see what deals they have.

Thier is a bombardier dealer in farmington missouri. After I get a little older and get going with a good job I may stop by their and pick Up one of those ds650's.They have grown on me.

One question though. Can they pop a wheelie?I heard that it was really hard.

Ugly, I've seen pictures of guys riding wheelies on DS's, but I sure cant do it. They are alot longer than other quads and also the stock tires spin out alot, which makes wheelieing alot harder than, say a 400EX or Raptor.

Hey guys~

I just picked up my 2001 DS 2 weeks ago from the dealer in Winona, MN for 6495 OTD plus the $1000 rebate! Bombardier must have something up their sleeve since they are selling all remaining 2001's for so cheap! Sorry EDSMARINE, can't help you with the dealership.

Ugly~
I too have found it difficult to pull wheelies on my DS. The front end feels as heavy as my Scrambler 4X4 and the back tires do seem to spin a lot when I try popping the clutch. Wheelies are actually easier for me to pull on my Scrambler(with clutch kit)!!

That is not good.I love poping wheelie's that is my favorite thing to do.Hitting 5th gear with the grabbar 4 inches off the ground. What a rush!

I rode a 400 scrambler with a pipe,clutch kit,porting,39 pwk,K&N clamp on for a cr500 and a rad valve.It poped wheelie's really easy.

I just like how big the DS is.MY dad used to have a qaudzilla not only did it have an awesome engine but It was so big U didn't have to worry about flipping.MY R has +2 A-arms and a 2+2 axle it is big but it doesn't feel it.I like that big and safe feeling but not like a 4x4 big and safe.

I personally can't do a wheelie no matter what quad I'm riding, but I believe this topic came up earlier, and if I recall correctly, adding an exhaust pipe which is said to dramatically increase the lower end of the powerband (many pipes as much as 10HP on the dyno) is what can make wheelies much easier for those people skilled in that task.
