This winter i am looking to put a 310 kit on my R but am not sure which kind, ESR, Paul Turner, CT, LRD? I know the Lrd are more expensive but if they are a lot better it would be worth it.
Also would boring my stock jug to a 310 be able to handle the extra heat produced and still cool it effectively?
Just interested in what you think

The difference in the kits is the porting and the piston. They all use LA Sleeve. Get on the phone and call them and tell them what you're after. CT will have the very worst customer service, LRD will have some of the best.
You can't just bore a stock jug to a 310; it has to have the sleeve removed, the jug bored, resleeved again and bored to 310.
For less money, you could check out having your cylinder bored to a 265/270. I've seen some really fast 265s!

Give Chris Grissom a call, my 310 from him is awsome.(901-642-0511) He will be glad to talk to you, his prices are low, and quality is higher than most. Whether or not you end up getting a CGR, you wont regret giving him a call Good luck

I would suggest putting an LRD on with an LRD pipe. make sure the pipe is a high velocity because they are specially made to reduce heat from motors over 300cc.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I knew that the stock cylinder had to have a lot of work done to it to make it a 310 but i am sort of wanting to pull a sleeper and let my buddies and people i ride with and race with guess what i have in the motor. I will give ESR, LRD and the other guy a call this week and figure out what i am gonna do
Peace
