I am replacing the chain roller on my DS650. I have heard that the TM Designworks product is excellent, but the "Moose Racing" brand is readily available to me. Does anyone have any experience with the "Moose" chain roller? Thanks.

Don't know about the Moose Racing one but I'm happy with my TM Design.

I used a 'blank' black skateboard wheel, and 4 skateboard bearings. It's readily available everywhere and is about $5, compared to $35 plus shipping.

I have the Moose roller. I bought an extra one and have not needed it yet. Barely shows any wear at all. I think I paid $15 for it so they are well worth it. Get an extra just in case.

I DESTROYED a Moose heavy duty motorcycle roller in about 3 laps on a lowered DS. Nothing left but the bearing inner races and spacer. I now have a TM roller and it seems to be holding up. It's a bolt on, comes with hardware.
The Moose roller is molded urethane, and the TM is machined nylon (or similar hard plastic).

Thanks for the replies everybody, I got the Moose roller, but I will keep an eye on it. If necessary, I'll just order the TM Designs unit.

I lowered it by removing the small red spring on the rear shock and setting the ride height with the preload collars. I had to cut the sleece off of one side of the spacer between the two springs so it was flat on one side. On the front, I use Progressive Suspension shocks, 17.5 inch long part no. 13-1242B, with 85/170 springs part no.03-1333B. for the oval track I race on, the right shock has the 80 lb. short spring replaced by a spacer of the same size to stiffen the spring rate on the outside.
It handles funny on a motocross track with the different spring rates on the front, but on the oval it works great. Now rear traction and power are the problem. It still has the stock rear tires and only a Stage I kit, so I have a hard time keeping close to the real race quads .

The Moose roller I used was for a motorcycle, if they are different.
