every quad ive ever owned i re-wired so there isnt any damn keys, i hate them. but if you live in a city or something like that were someone could steal it, maybe just go to a dealer and ask them, but i'd re wire it, its very simple if you know anything about electronics.

If he purchased it new the dealer should know the key number from his records. I have written mine down just in case I have lost them. I also don't keep my keys together. I wouldn't think the keys would be that much, but I could be wrong. Chet

He will need proof of ownership and the VIN (serial number of the quad) in order for a dealer to cut a new set of keys. Just about any dealer should be able to do it, however the price is usually outrageous.

Im an electrician so my first guess is theres 2 wires under your key mount. Just tie them together w/wirenut and tape it up! then if u have 2 keys keep one in your pocket so if ur out ridin and lose one u got a spare/....good luck
