Does anyone know if someone makes a bigger carb for a 1985 Yamaha Tri-Z?
OEM it comes with a 32mm and I am thinking something like 36 or 38mm.
I kow DG used to sell one but that was long time ago. Anyone knows?
Can I fit a carb made for other machine? Which one?
Thanks.

They have 3 wheelers in puerto rico? How easy are they to find? You could probably get any larger carb and make it work somehow but the problem might be is getting it to fit into the rubber intake.

Well I have mine since I bought it new in 1986 (it is an 85 model that did not sell during that year). Back then there were a lot of 3 wheelers specially ATC250R and Tri-Z. The tecate was not very popular since there are not many kawasaki dealers around. Right now I have seen a few 250R where I ride but no other Tri Z. I have seen some (not many) 3 wheelers for sale at the newspaper. I am considering buying an ATC 250R (85 or 86) but they are kind of hard to find and expensive I would say. I saw an 86 ATC 250R for sale for $2K and an 87 TRX250R for $2500. The problem is that the people that has them do not want to sell them or if they do they ask a lot for them. Hewre there are a LOT of banshees, I mean they are everywhere and what I want it to at least make some mods to my bike to at least hand with them. You can check my Tri-Z at http://www.prtc.net/~racerx7/ytz.htm these are older pictures but I have some new ones that I have to develop and scan to put them online soon. Hopefully by next week.
