I know I probably shouldn't say this, but maybe the folks in NYC should ask Senator Clinton what she was doing while Monica was entertaining her husband in the White House. It appears we now know what others were doing.

Anyone remember "ATVing"? Since the new forum, I don't recall if he ever came back and changed his name or anything, but he was a police officer back there in NY. Also NY/Pete??? Has anybody heard anything of either of them??? I pray for the best, hope that they were able to somehow make it through this disaster unharmed.

As for the blood donations, I heard around 11:00 this morning they announced the blood banks were full, they were asking that nobody give anymore blood at this time, to wait for a few weeks when they'll need to replenish again. Any truth to this? It's hard to keep up with what is TRUTH, and what is just media assumptions, I've seen far too many speculations thus far, having a hard time sifting through the b.s. to find the truth buried somewhere beneath. At any rate, my best goes out to all those affected, rather directly or not-as others have mentioned, this effects all people on earth, let us hope we find who is responsible, take action IMMEDIATELY. I for one will be first in line if needed...

It is absolutely true...They do not need blood right now. Why? Well, it's sad for sure...there are not too many injured. The influx of patients lasted only a few hours. Now the Hospitals are dealing with injured rescue personnel.
That means that the news is 100% correct.....Until you really stop to think about it, we cannot imagine the number of people that were lost in this tragedy.Some of you may live in a town that does not have as many people as were lost in this disaster. If you have a second...stop and say a little prayer. It does not matter what your religion is...every thought counts at this point. And in the months to come. When our service men make this even more of a reality.
Many of us have only read about the previous wars we have been involved with. IF/WHEN this hits...It is going to happen on a large scale. With many countries and alliances involved. It is scary for sure. Man..I could go on and on. Even the economic impact is going to be huge.

I live in NJ and many people have dropped what they were doing and going to help, you have to stand on line for an hour to donate blood, everybody is trying to help and it's great to see. Man, i can see Manhatten which is 40 miles away from the Raritan Bay , it's unbeleivable! You cant imagine the devastation. All those dumb movies that glorify violence and destruction just cant capture the true Horror of what happened. I'm just speechless! For all you guys around the country just keep praying for those who need it.
