I just bought a 2002 Warrior that's under warranty for another 5 months. After the warranty's up I want to put a pipe on it. Around this forum, most people say that the White Bros. E - Series silencer should be my only choice. I know it's louder, but will it boost power enough to be noticable?
Most importantly; will one make me say:
"Now THAT was worth the money!"?

i think that fmf pipes are better than white bros pipes and fmf cost less and are better so save your money and get fmf pipes i have them and they work very very good

I think it will make you say it was worth the money. Also doing some other mods will also be worth the money. If you're going to let more exhaust out then let more fuel and air in. Why are you concerned with the 5 months left on the warranty, get the silencer now. One suggestion I have for you is if you can run without the airbox lid, do it.

I put a WB e-series on my Warrior and was happy with the performance. BUT......a few issues have surfaced. A buddy put a FMF power core 4 on his 400ex and I compared the pipes - design and such. I like the FMF better and would likely go FMF in the future. Here are the reasons:

1) WB has only one mounting flange (stock has two). FMF has two, like stock. The WB seems to "hang" from the exhaust manifold and is only supported in one place all the way back.

2) Exhaust exits out the sides of the diffuser disks instead of straight back like the FMF - WB bakes a cooler and is dirty.

3) WB Pipe is riveted together rather than bolted. Makes servicing more difficult.

Don't get me wrong, the WB is a quality pipe but the design of the FMF seems better overall.

Also, I added an Alba racing "torque stuffer" veturi into the head pipe and it works really well. Call them....only $32....good low end without sacrificing R's.

See ya -

Hey, ridnwarrior....

If I put a pipe on will it void the warranty?

I just don't want anything to go wrong and have the dealer blame the pipe for it and not cover it.

I went with the Big Gun pipe and have been VERY happy with it. It's bolted together for easy service and the fit and finish is GREAT! I could tell a big improvement after the install but I also installed the prodesign intake and Uni filter at the same time (as well as rejet). I think every one will agree that the prodesign intake kit is a must have on the warrior. I've never rode a warrior with a WB E series but I've heard they are a great pipe as well. I didn't like the ideal of the exhaust exiting the side of the rings. I like how the Big Gun exits right out the back, and the sound is LOUD and Awesome. I would say that the Big Gun is louder than the WB.
