This pisses me off we cant ride offroad that doesnt really bother many people but any joe on the street can ride a harley at 2am and wake up the dead and not get stopped for noise. I hear like 20 loud *** harley's everday and that is fine. And at the sand dunes what the hell there is 10,000+ acres just for atving and why is there going to be a sound level limit? What am I missing here?

Popo35 is right. I own Harleys as well. I run mine with straight pipes too. This is illegal to do. Any cop could pull me over and give me a ticket at any time but they don't. All these years I've never gotton a ticket for loud pipes on the Harley. As far as db levels on a quad, these people have nothing to do. Get a life. They have to attack us so they have to figure any way they can to get to us.
