hey everyone i am intrested in buying the 2002 wolverine 4x4 can anyone help me on finding out some informantion or some web sites wit pictures or videos also can you tell me the good and bad things about the wolverine..... like is it good in the snow can i plow with a 60' blade and what should i but to make it better well thank you all for your time

The wolverine is a good bike, proven pretty reliable.
It's a bit down on power compared to some of theother sport 4x4's such as the polarises, but manages to hold its own pretty well. I wouldnt think it fit for plowing snow with a 60 inch blade, it doesnt have the gearing for pure work task such as that, perhaps with a smaller blade.

Im not sure, I dont think the wolverine was designed for a blade. Not that it couldnt handle one, but a smaller one, no larger than 48" I would think at the max.
If your looking for something to plow with, AND hit the trails. Maybe a Kodiak, or something similar, with selectable 2/4wheel drive and performance on the trails on par with the Wolverine. A Wolverine is a great trail bike, but its designed for light work, and you need to keep that in mind when you are looking for a quad.

hey thank you for what u told me but do you have the wolverine 2002? if so can you tell me about it good and bad things and would u recemdend it to me as my first atv im 15 5'5 adn 130 lbs do you think i can handel it also i am using it for nj trail rinning and to plow a lil bit well if you can just give me as much info as you can thank you

You should be able to handle it, my girlfriend can handle it no prob, and she only weighs 115.
I havent found one thing i dont like about mine. I added the k/n power kit (filter,jets) and a fmf megamax 2 pipe.

It runs pretty nice now

 

I'm 15 5'8" 150 lbs with a 2001 Wolv. I am very happy with mine but I do agree it isn't geared for grunt. if thats what you plan on doing mostly thats not good but I imagnine you wont be and for riding it is a great bike. I have taken it through every type of terane and It runs great. It tackels all sorts of climbs and bogs. I would say you definatly need a full body skid plate and I would sugest CV boot guards for a precaution. I love mine a bunch. It does everything well and is although not as large as some ATVs, very peppy. And at your size anything bigger would be a little much to handle. I have had mine for a little over a year and it runs great. If you have any other questions please ask me

I bought the Kodiak instead, because I wanted to plow snow. I have a moose 60" blade with a Warn winch. Love it and I make tons of money with it plowing and having fun. I tried a woverine and felt hit did not have the gearing power. I you are buying a winch. DO NOT buy super winch they bind up while rewinding the blade up and fray the cable.
