I would say (and hope) that that is an isolated problem, I havent heard about it......I may be wrong though.

You would think if the problem was that large Yamaha would have quit making them along time ago.

well,I personally think that yamaha knows all about it..three quads from three different dealers in two states...yea, yamy knows all about it..its just that there are not to many sport 4x4's on the market..and it is one of the all time best sellers..no..they dont want to give up there cash cow..I dont have any faith in yamaha any more,I've sold the 'rine and bought as honda 450 es..twice,no make that three times the machine that the 'rine was..just cant jump thats all...just my opinion..but I'd beware of that motor.

It might be twice the machine but it takes twice as long to stop. 3 machines in how many sold over 7 years. Lets check how many have bad brakes on the 450's from Honda and compare. We all can say we have friends that have problems. We ride with a guy that bought a 450es and had it to 3 dealers to get the brakes working right and it has yet to be fixed. Lets just say all machines have their problems and leave it at that. What you read on the web is only a few % of people having problems and is just not the norm from any company.

well, most of what I said was my opinion..except of course the part about the yamy motors.I didnt tell niki5131 notto get the 'rine, I just gave him the facts at hand.I have to say that I loved that yamaha,it was a blast to ride and I didnt want to trade it,but I didnt want a $5000 lawn ornamate either.

Yes you can plow snow no problem. In KS, i make about 200 bux plowing with the wolvy. You can get a White brothers PM pipe for it and it will to "true" wheelies. we ride our wolvy hard and have only had 2 problems. A torn intake boot and a sparkplug failure.

I was not trying to be an a$$. I just see so much bashing on all the sites I just get sick of it. I also know that all the companies have their problems from time to time. I guess if you put it in perspective compared to car companies the atv world is 10 times better.

It seems like all companies have certain things they need to work on. I also seen some of these people that say they had problems and after you see they way they take care of thier machine and the way they treat it then I know why the machine is always breaking down.
