2002 wolverine 350 4x4

My dad has a wolvy and he loves it. He said the only bad thing about it is you can't take in and out of four wheel drive. But then he said you don't have to worry about putting it in though. He put 23" goodyear mudrunners on it. He can't get stuck even if he tried. 2nd gear is not that powerful but 1st gear could pull a lot. I am sure you could plow with no problem. The four wheel drive works like a charm.

I have enjoyed mine quite a bit. I like the centrifugal clutch on it the best. I have found first gear to be very strong and powerful, although I have never ridden another utility to compare it too. If all your doing is some light plowing and trail riding I think you will like this quad alot.

Hey Nike5131, Hello fellow NJ member. Fix your profile, you spelled Fairfield wrong. Anyway, you mentioned NJ trails. What NJ trails are you talking about. It depends what type of riding you're talking about. Have you looked at the 2002 Big Bear. It has a switch on the handlebars to switch from 2 wheel to 4 wheel drive. Also if you are really interested in the Wolverine, Speer Yamaha has a 2001 Wolverine leftover that he is looking to get rid of for a good price. There is really no difference between the 2001 and the 2002 except for the price. Let me know where you plan on riding here in NJ. Later.

The 2002 is a littl different. it has a brake light and new headlights. the 2001 doesn't have those. but I would say for all season NJ trail riding definately go for the Wolverine. i ride all conditions and it handles great. it is also smaller and much more agile than the larger quads like the kodiak and big bear. I think it's more fun to ride and unless your main goal is donuts you won't have much a problem with the full time 4x4

Hey, just wanted to give you a warning..there seems to be a problem with the cam lobes on ALL yamaha 350 motors..including the warrior and wolverine lines..I personally know of 1 person with a 99 warrior ,I had a 2000 wolverine, and a 2001 wolverine that the valves WILL not stay adjusted, and no one was able to keep it fixed or offer a solution..and Yamaha told me to $h*t in my hat..so to say...just thought I'd give you a heads up..Go with the Kodiak or a450es from honda....you'll be glad you did.
