I just got my '97 Banshee bored .40 over and I haven't got it back yet but I'm wondering if it will have more bottom end or top end. So far all I got on it is pipes and silencers and a little engine work but i want to have alot of top end. Could I just go up a tooth on the front spocket to give it more top if there is too much bottom? or will boring it just give it a crap load of top end?

Boring gives more hp across the entire powerband - you will have more bottom and more top. You might be able to pull taller gearing thus increasing your top end speed.

I'd go one tooth down on the rear sprocket. One tooth taller on the front will be too tall a gear I think. Anyway try it and see what you like better.

You could get some simple porting done... Tell the shop you want a top end port job.. They could hook you up
