I'm no expert on the Kodiak, but I would be checking to see if anything is bent.
On this subject....of alignment...Do lift kits affect the wheel alignment (or steering/turning ability) on the Kodiak? I'm talking about a 1" or maybe 1.5", nothing to outrageous.
