E-SERIES PIPE, REV KIT WHITE BROTHERS NEED HELP 400EX
#1
I AM THINKING OF PUTTING A E-SERIES SLIP ON PIPE ON AND REV KIT FROM WHITE BROTHERS AND K&N AIR FILTER, QUESTION. HOW LOUD IS THE E-SERIES PIPE OVER THE STOCK, MY FMF PRO CORE ON MY 300EX WAS A LITTLE LOUD. RIDING ARES GETTING TIGHT.
REV KIT: NEVER HAD ONE, ARE THEY REALLY WORTH IT AND WHAT KIND OF CHANGES WOULD I EXPECT. ANY ADVERSE EFFECTS ON THE ENGINE DUE TO THE HIGHER RPM
K&N JET KIT. WHEN I PURCHASED THIS FOR MY 300 I GOT ALOT OF JETS I WILL NEVER USE CAN I JUST BY THE JET I AM LOOKING AT A 155 AND DO I ALSO HAVE TO CHANGE THE NEEDLE IN THE CARB. I CHANGED IT WHEN I DID MY 300
ANY SUGGESTIONS I RIDE ON THE EAST COAST

Well, I don't know about the Rev Kit, but I have a 2001 400 and I just got done with the process of adding the WB Eseries along with 22"XCT's the K&N Dynojet kit and a 14T sproket. The result...***** off the wall. The jet kit was fairly simple to install. It's hard to tell you what main jet to change to because K&N have them numbered differently so you can't just go out and buy the single one for 3.00. The jet needle is different a little bit too. With the K&N, you take out the main jet and actually add not only a new main jet, but it attaches to a main jet adapter that ties into the needle jet holder. The exhaust is alot louder than the stock, but you can take out discs that will muffle the sound more, but keep in mind that this will also richen the mixture.
