I need to know what settings to set my suspension at. I weigh 195lbs. and when I go to jump it bottoms out at the base of the jump. Maybe someone around my weight could let me know where there settings are and how it improved. Thanks

I was in your weight category for awhile (I went from 205 down to 180 in the last 5 months). The best settings I found for jumping with the factory setup was to put all the preload on the front shocks and turn the compression all the way in and then back off four clicks for the rear shock. Also turn the rebound in about 3-4 clicks.

The real trick is to learn to land on your rear tires first. If you land with all four tires at once, most of the weight of the bike is transferred forward to the front shocks thus bottoming them. It helps to stay on the gas some when landing too so it isn't like you are suddenly slowing down as soon as you land - this transfers the weight forward too.

The problem with the factory setup is that it isn't very forgiving meaning you have to jump perfectly for a nice soft landing. If you can spare the bucks, get some new front shocks. I have Elka shocks all around and love the improvement.
