DRAG RACE:WHO WINS? 300EX v.s 250ex v.s Blaster
#1
I am getting a 300EX.One of my friends has a 250EX and his cousin has a Blaster.I am wondering what place I would come in, in a 100yrd drag? I am also wondering how good I am going to against them in the woods and a kind of small motocross track?
PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ANSWERS! (espically the drag racing question!) THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

LOL good one Quadfather
To add to that I would say on the MX track the 250EX will just plain suck and the 300ex and blaster will go to whoever is the better rider. In the woods it's anyones game depending on who's the best rider.I use to be able to beat a 300ex in my trails on a Recon, so like I said the rider is what it's all about.

In a drag race, the 300ex will win. I have had both a Blaster and two 300ex's and drag raced them all and the 300ex won every time but not by much. I agree with Killer250r that it will go to whoever is the better rider. One of my 300ex's was stock and the other had some mods done to it, and my Blaster was stock. Blaster are quick off of the line but are a little slower on the top end then a 300ex. I know that most Blaster owners will disagree, but I have owned both models and the 300ex is faster but not by much. The 300ex is also the better machine of the two. It has much better brakes, suspension, and handling then the Blaster. You also have that four stroke reliability so you don't have to worry about maintenance as much as a two-stroke. As for the 250ex, it is an awesome beginner entry level quad but will not compete at all with the 300ex and Blaster in a drag race. As for riding in the woods, and on a local mx track, in the woods, the 300ex will kill the Blaster. The EX has a ton of low-end torgue which allows it to pull itself out corners and up hills. As for the Blaster, since it is a 2-stroke, it's torgue and peak horsepower is created only at high rpm's, so you will always have to be on the throttle at all times. You can't be on the throttle going through tight trails left/right, up/down and so on. The 250ex will perform decently in the woods with the 300ex. It has plenty of torgue as well it just doesn't have the speed to keep up with the 300ex. On the motocross track, it depends on what kind of jumps are on the track. I don't feel comfortable at all jumping a Blaster or a 250ex. They are too small for me. I am 5'10 and 150lbs and I feel top heavy doing something like that. I like jumping the 300ex because it has awesome manners, but not as awesome as my 400ex. (That's a different subject though) The 400ex offers way more then the 300ex, Blaster, and 250ex. That's why it is in a different catagory. Anyway, if there is a major whoop section on the mx track, you can forget about it on a Blaster. That thing will throw you off on the second whoop. The wheel base is way too narrow. Same thing with the 250ex but not quite as bad as the Blaster. All in all, the 300ex is the best machine in my opinion. Good luck in your new investment.
