PLEASE HELP !!
I have a blaster that sounds really bad . It battles to start and when it does, it splutters , backfires and revs inconsistently. If I tap the throttle it takes a couple of seconds to go back to idle .It idles like a dog and sounds awful . DONE SO FAR - Checked piston and rings - OK , Replaced spark Plug , cleaned out carb, adjusted idling on carb and cable. Swapped the magneto , checked reeds, cant find air leaks around carb.... ANYTHING else worth checking..

Sounds a lot like the reeds are not sealing...normal symptoms are hard starting and rough running including backfires... replace them.
