... Okay, the Raptorette is ordered, and I scored a 2000 Blaster set of A-arms, brakes, hubs and cables from BlueBlaster who upgraded to Strong arms and Banshee discs. Thanks BlueBlaster.
... I just ordered a tubing bender and am looking forward to building a Blaster front end onto this brand new Raptorette. (I am going to take the plastic off before I bring it home so I can at least make the attempt at concealing its' identity till X-mas). I also have a Blaster available for help in getting the frame dimensions right. I'm a very good welder and have a nice Millermatic 250 which will work just fine for mild steel.
....What I need to find are shocks/springs for a Blaster for a 50 lb rider. Normal Blaster springs would defeat the purpose of putting long travel suspension on this mini quad. I'll need to do something with the rear shock too, so if anyone knows of a better rear shock set up for the Badger/Raptorette please post.
......Now that I have this almost all figured out, just watch, the new Raptorette will come out with all new improved suspension!
