Can't believe we didn't get this on video for ya. Chasman and i were out riding sunday in the sand pit behind his house. i was showing him how to get big air when seven guys come riding in on quads and bikes. all at once they break off in diffrent directions. this put a damper on the jumping at first. the biggest jump is a 30-40ft high dune. with enough speed you clear the top (10ft) and land on the down slope. Chasman agrees to watch the top as i go for a couple of runs. When all is clear i hit the jump the first time and two others follw behind me. as i double back for another take off...i'm halfway up when i see chasman waving someone off on the other side. "Lift Off". as i crest the top of the jump i notice a 250R coming up the opposite side of the jump. He see's me and stops smack dab in the middle of the landing zone."Houston we are completly F'd". I land. WHAM! dead on collision. coleco head 2 head. His quad was pushed backwards down the hill. front right tire blown and both ball joints snapped.Shearing the wheel completly off. his front bumper was twisted like a pretzle and the metal sreen in it was knocked out. i'm sure closer inspection would have revealed frame damage. i managed to stay on my quad(barely, and yes my back kills right now)i began to go over the bars but when i flew forward and he flew forward our helmets collided and i was pushed back onto my quad.

Damage to the raptor, you ask? one slightly bent GYTR bumper. My pants were heavily soiled. but, thats a problem for Mrs. Raptor. Had i hit that jump the way i normaly due there would have been a fatality. possibly two. i still get a rush of adrenaline just reflecting about it. Thought you would enjoy

It's True, It's True. I was there. Although Andy(Raptor660rnh) left out a few details:

After the crash I headed over to see if everyone was O.K. "Andy, are you Ok? *******,******, I knew this was gonna happen. *****, **** How's my quad? He probably rewrote the bad language dictionary. Then I asked the other guy on the 250r if he was ok. He replied, "My *****, My *****" He said this about 5 or 6 times. Had to turn my head as I didn't want him to see me laugh at what he said.

After the crash I came up with this small commercial:

New Bumper $70
Watching 3 guys push a 250r down a hill....... PRICELESS.

We can joke now since everyone was ok. Although I do advise everyone to have a spotter and make sure everyone riding in a particular area understands what get out of the way means.
