I own one and have no complaints about it. It does averything I expect it to do. I'm planning on purchasing a 250ex so more in my family can trail ride together. Their great on mountain trails, barn yards, fields and most places I ride, even in the snow.
Only place I might need more power is in the sand. These machines will climb most dunes, but not with the sensation of any power in reserve.

my friend had a guy on the rear rack of his recon(240lbs), another friend on the front rack(175lbs) and two people on the seat(about 150lbs each). The recon looked like a low rider. he drove around his yard with all of them on it. it was pretty cool.

My Recon has got me through eveything I could throw at it and back, although it is not as pretty as it used to be. I once had three people on the front rack, four people on the back and two on the seat and it was a lowrider but we were able to get to where we were going. The Recon is a amazing machine, hell throw some short mud tires on it and you would be surprised on what it can do.

Am very pleased with it as an ATV for my kids. Very reliable, easy starter. Great on gas mileage. Very good in the speed department and jumps almost too well for my 90 pound son. It is easy to control and is great for learning to operate a shifter with the electric clutch. I find it too small and buzzy for me however. The suspension could be more compliant, I think it rides harsh, but the kids don't seem to mind.
I did replace the thumb throttle with a twist throttle so now no more sore thumbs.

Excellent starter bike. Relatively light and powerful. Does everything fairly well. Goes thru mud, climbs hills, hauls a load. Also you can pull a lite trailer, for yard work, etc. DEAD RELIABLE! Keep oil in it, it'll run forever.
