I haven't really thought about it. Doesn't really matter to me, it's just an icon in my eyes.

 

icons don't make you go faster.

 

well I've already tryed to get a icon for the DS, I think that they will only do it for brands that have a high number of quads out there IE Honda and Yamaha, you might try starting a thread something like "Petition for a DS650 icon, sign here", let folks sign it for a week or so then send a email to Dave Beckstrom asking very nicly if a icon could be made up for the DS. FYI from gabes posts that I read about this it apparently take several hours to produce these icons and I don't think he gets paid for this work, maybe if you could arange for someone to produce this Dave would use it, just throwing out ideas here.

The icons are actually just very small GIF imagines, which should make them rather easy to produce one by one (assuming you've already got good images to use.) When making several, it could easily take several hours. Each individually, if you include all trimming down, testing, should be 30 minutes on the higher side. (Computers are very good at proving a person wrong if you say something as absolute.)

The good thing is, if anyone in this forum was serious about it, they could find a good picture of a DS (preferably one with a transparent background) and send that, and a few already edited versions towards the admins of the site so as to save them work and make it easy for them to add the Icon.

 

Yes Gabe mentioned that they needed a high quality photo with a hopefully low detail background (dose that make sence?) anyway what program would you use to produce those images BlackHawk?
