ve thinking about upping my go fast goodies on my Ds.I've been talking to Knutz about some Pami parts. This is the question.I want to keep the RW exhaust, rev box and 45mm carb and add to that maybe Pami piston and cams, valve springs or their st.1 kit.Anyone keep their RW setup but add Pami piston and cams???Or Pami st.1 kit??If so how was the performance and or dyno.Knutz says the 45mm carb doesn't perform well w/o added displacement.Although you cannot hammer it off the line full on for about a second, that carb rocks!!!!!!!!My brother has the same stup w/o the carb and it is like night and day.I just walk away from 2nd gear on.Any input ??

I have the RW CDI and HD valve springs with Team-PAMI 11:1 piston and HD clutch springs. As soon as I get a new job I will be getting the PAMI sports cams. It runs great now but I think the cams will perk it up some more.

As you stated, from 2nd gear on it rocks. I simply suggest that the 42MM[instead of the 45MM] Mikuni flat slide would work better, and rock from idle all the way up on a mild motor.

just put the acc. pump on the 45mm carb and it'll rock to.

I took it that you meant it would perform better from idle up.But thats not exactly how it came out. That makes since. It is alot of carb.I handle the extra carb great on my current setup and i don't think it hurts me a bit.Yeh it may be cool to totally hammer from a dead stop but that will probally get me just more wheel spin.I want it to pull harder after hookup.I'm trying to figure about what to expect.I'm sure that the products together WILL kick butt, I'm just wanting to get my dollars worth.I'm sure you understand that.Anymore input is great. Also i've heard that about 50% of the people who installed the acc. pumps it did solve the prob.(not really a prob for me)of hesitation. So it didn't work 50% of the time either.

Marky did you add the st.2 as a upgrade from St.1 or did you go straight the the st.2??If you upgraded whats the diff. between 1 and 2 in performance??I've heard the Pami piston and cams were better.Thanks.

I have the RW stage 1 with the team pami 12/1 piston , sport cams, hd valve springs, pami head gasket and paper base and I had a local atv mech. clean up the head and it ROCKS!
I believe that cleaning up the head helped it breath a lot better and made the RW pipe and the 45mm carb work a lot better together. Gottfried at Team Pami also told me that the head can also be milled 1mm. , but I have not done that yet.

Had a RWR stage 2. Now have Pami 703 except Wood rev box and cam. The 45mm carb comes with both kits. When I tried the acc. pump, it didn't do anything for me. I can truly say that the set up I have now is very fast but can be made faster. Also the exhaust I am using is from CT.

Yes for all three. Infact I have so much low end now that I took the 15 tooth sprocket off, that I needed before to run comp hill at Dumont, and put the stock 16 back on.
