how do i remove my valve stem?
#2
You don't remove and REPLACE a valve stem. It will not be in any condition to replace when you get it out. It would never seal properly if you do. Just yank the old one out or cut it out, then put in a new one. If your dealer only carries the OEM valve stems instead of the aftermarket ones, go to an auto parts store with your old one. Just make sure the O.D. and the length is the same. Don't pay more than 2.50 for a valve stem.

Knowsalot is right, just bend the old one over far enough and they will usually crack and break off. If not just cut it. Put a little dishsoap on the new one to lube it a little and pull it through the new rim, while rocking it from side to side.
