Reply to an e-mail from Barnett:

We have friction plates only for the 650 Rotax (part # 545-2). We do not
make anything for the BMW's. For the Bombardier 650 we have friction
plates and steel drive plates that will fit. HOWEVER, our frictions and
steels MUST be used together to achieve the correct stack height. Our
plates are sized to a different thickness than the OEM plates. This is
why the correct combination of our frictions and steels must be used.
We do not have springs for the Bombardier. The friction and steel plate
part numbers are listed below.

Frictions: # K-1000K (8 req.)
Steels: # KP-2-20 (7 req.) and # KP-2-16 (1 req.)

The outer friction plate won't fit. The slots for the outer friction plate are 1mm narrower than the slots for the rest of the plates. You might be able to use the stock outer friction plate instead or carefully file 0.5mm off of each side of the tabs on the barnett outer friction plate.

ScoobyDFW

have you informed Barnett about this yet? I'm ready to order these tomorrow from my local dealer, but now I'm worried. What's the deal?

This was quite a while ago, if I remember the names, it was Chris who set me up with a clutch. I believe it was Mike who I informed that the outer friction plate had an issue, since Chris was out of town at the time.

I'm currently running their 9/9 setup and I filed the outer friction plate to fit. You might be able to use your stock outer plate.

ScoobyDFW was right and still is. I also had to grid off some of the metal on the fiction plates to make it work. It's kinda hard to explain but the final plate is off-set just alittle and the inserts where the tabs of the fiction plate goes into is a hair smaller. The stock plate fits good and is a little loose in the normal local. Installed new plates, disc & Pami's HD springs, the pull feels great now. Completing this tomorrow, I can't wait until I can test her out. Thanks everyone for the help with find the clutch plates, HD springs and the torque settings.
