I need new handelbars and a cluch lever for my ds. I rolled it real hard on frozen ground last week. I liked the factory bars and would prefer to stay with something close to those. My dealer is trying to talk me into aluminume Renthal bars that are close but I realy dont want to spend $70 bucks on a set of bars that will bend eisier than stock. I would like steel if I can find some that are close. The cluch handle also broke off. The perch is fine. A new factory perch and lever is $55. I obviously do not want to spend that much for a $5 lever. Does any one know where I can get oem or equivelent parts at a resonable price. Thanks for any info.

Let me give you the low down as I'm on my 3rd set of bars. Renthals do NOT bend easier than stock. My stock ones folded like a coat hanger on a very easy rollover. The 1st Renthal set bent badly, but I flipped it on a hill and it fell about 6 feet and landed on the left hand grip. It bent them pretty bad. The 2nd set survive a rollover with little damage. I also have MSR Raptor lever now. Good so far. You may need to pull the clutch arm off the tran case to get slack right. Just take the bolt all of the way out before you start prying.
