Hinson Clutch Baskets for 400ex??

Anyone have a Hinson Clutch basket in there 400?? Notice any performace difference compared to stock?? Are they a pain to install?? What plates are you running with it?? Leave me any info & opinions. Thanks!!

I have the hinson full 8 plate kit...includes basket, inner and out hubs.....it is a pain to get the nut off that holds the basket on if you dont have an impact, or someone to hold back up....if you have any motor work, I highly reccomend it....also, stay away from mobil one synthetic oil with the ex clutch......

where did you get the inner/outer hubs I have the Hinson basket just looking for the inner and outer hubs

Hey, can you peen the top of the bolts around the heads instead of the bottom? I feel like this would make it easier to remove the primary gear if you ever needed to change the basket again.
