I e got a 2002 Honda Rancher ES. About 15-20 seconds after start up the ignition fuse blows. I e replaced CDI box, coil, ECU. Check carb heater, kill switch connection, ignition switch connection. It seems like a relay but no relays relate to the ignition fuse. Any help is appreciated.

 

Did someone put aftermarket carb on atv? if so I have a few that heater was wired backward an would blow ign fuse Try to unplug heter an see if problem goes away

 

Also may want tocheck charging system if over charging the voltage regulator can over charge an cause fuse to blow also can blow cdi and headlight bulbs

 

I love the way you diagnose problems, it is so methodical and thought out. I wish i could be more like you, learnin everyday but not there yet.
