Default HD clutch 4 the 400ex

I have a 00' 400ex with the 440 bore and the 4mm stroke, ported, oversized vales,15:1 compresion, hot cam stage 2, dmc eghuast, and the 39mm fcr. With all that I had a barnett clutch installed and the dang clutch went out after about 4 rides on it. I was wondring if there is a better clutch out there that I can get, cause that is a tad short of ride time on it. Oh, also I have the HD springs but the stock clutch basket, and I am running alcohol and need a good clutch.

Thanx in advance for the replies

Ben

After I put my 440 kit into my 400 I was going thought clutches about every 6 months. I then went and put in the 8 plate set up and it then lasted over a year and is still going good. If you all ready have a good basket you can have L summers at GT Thender mod the inside and just change springs, steels and fibers is all that you will need.
