I'm looking at maybe buying a recon for 2k. Its a 1997 and its in excellent condition no scratches on any of the fenders at all. I have a few questions about it first:

1. Is there anything i can do to the quad to get some more power and more speed?
2. Would I be able to mount a small snow plow on the front? And how much snow would i be able to push with it.
3. It will need new back tires shortly, what would be the best tires to put on it for trail riding that won't slow me down much?

Thanks
Curt

Ok,to give it some more power try getting a pipe and a jet kit.
Im not real sure about the tires. And you should be able to push quite a bi of snow with the right kind of tires and in the right gear.

For more speed go with icav idea. Also for better airflow cut the snorkel (the tube on the left side of the gas tank connecting to the air box) head bigger. The head is about the size of a small stapler but with the hole the size of a quarter. As with the snow plow, I have no stinkin clue cause I live in Arizona and have seen snow once in my life. For tires I love my Bandits.

The stockers are 22" and I have 20s on mine. Stay around that area.
