I just bought a 2002 Rancher 4x4 and am wondering about the best tire upgrades. I want something reasonable, not factory but not the big vamps either. I don't want to take away from the engine's ability to turn the tires too much. I am considering 25" Dirt Devils. I do mostly trail riding with a little mud. I would appreciate your opinions.

mudrunners, spider tracs, ect in stock size if your not gettin stuck in mudholes. If you are [getting high centered stuck] a high lifter lift kit for 90$ will do more than bigger tires.

If your doing mainly trail riding i HIGHLY recommend the Kenda Bearclaws. They are relativly cheap and will handle the mud if YOU can handle the mud. I went one size taller and a whole bunch wider. I haven't notices any power lose yet. They will actually through roost.....unlike the pathetic dirthooks that came stock. Ranchers do great with larger than stock tires as long as you don't get extreme.

good luck. just about any aftermarket skins will be 500% better than the dirthooks
