I have a feeling that any change to your air intake will change the way your Rancher will run. I installed a High Lifter Power-up kit on my 01 2X4 and had a heck of a time getting the fuel mixture right. I do know that just taking the stock foam filter off, And trying to start it without the filter, the bike will start but won't idle. To be honest the money I spent and the time it took to get it right was not worth the power I gained. Thats just my 2 cents. And remember you have a Rancher not a RACER!!!
