Best 250R Reed Valves
#1
Does anyone have any info on the best reed valves for the TRX250R? I have been leaning towards the new Moto Tassinarri Delta 2 after reading the test of it on the Banshee in Dirt Wheels. I also spoke with them and it sounds good. I just wondered if anyone had any experience with this valve, and/or any opinions on the best valve? Thanks Dave

I heard some great things too in the chat about 2 days ago regarding the V force cage. I have always run the FMF ram valve witht the reed spacer(big difference when added). I like the FMF but I wish someone would buy all three and give us the real lowdown on this. Anyone out there have at least 2 of them to comparer head to head?

JC-TRX250R rides 1988 TRX250R with a LRD ported O-Ringed cylinder, Pro Design Coolhead, Delta V-Force Reed Cage, 40mm Lectron Carb, LRD Adjustable Team B pipe, 1985 ATC 250R clutch, Hinsen Adjustable counter balancer bearing holder, lightened flywheel, Black Moto Force race plastic, 21x7x11 Front Shredder, 18x11x8 Turf Tamers, DG front bumber,
I have tried fmf with and without reed spacer, RAD valve trx and cr with and without reed spacer and the V-Force. As u can see I stuck with the V-Force and sold the other 3. The V-Force had better acceleration then the Rad valve and more top then the RAM valve. This is the only reed cage that I will own now unless I buy one from Eddie Sanders Racing. They make the same thing expect theres is a little stronger constrution. I hope this helps.
