the lt is ported, pol , piped and at .60 over
the ds in a flat out drag stayes right with it

DS650 vs. LT500 drag race? Maybe, just maybe if the quadzilla still has the restrictive stock pipe and huge catalitic converter sytle mufler on it they MIGHT stay pretty close. Invest about $250 into a pipe and silencer and theres no way it can happen. In a different thread I listed a dyno of a stock bore LT500 with a pipe and porting that had 57HP at the rear wheels, with only 392lbs as compaired to 420lbs with less power, I dont even see how there close. Bone stock is still a tad over 50hp, and the DS is 45 rear wheel hp right? Then add the weight advantage of the zilla, and its bye bye DS650. I think people that ride zillas dont realize how fast they are because there is NO spikes or power surges in the power band to give you that sudden acceleration feel, only raw even power. The LT500 puts its power to the ground real well because of no power spikes. You cant go by `seat of the pants` feel, it doesnt always work.
