I need some info on switching A-arm balljoints from raptor to banshee. I have a bent set of raptor A-arms and my banshee needs some new balljoints. They look like identical ball joints. How do i get the balljoints out of the A-arms to make the swich? Has anyone ever had to change balljoints on their banshee or raptor? I know that the raptor and banshee use the same breakshoes, because i changed them both today. When i got my new A-arms for my raptor I had to drill out the hole on the spindle to fit the Tie-rod balljoints in and i drilled too much. I ruined the first set of spindles and had to purchase another set from YAMAHA and that set me back about $300. So for those of you getting new A-arms be careful! I hope this helps someone and i hope someone helps me with my question.

The tie rods on yamaha a arms are not replaceable. its all one piece.

as for the tie rods are they aftermarket? Im not sure why the spindles had to be drilled if they werent

Think we're getting things a little confused here. The tie rod and tie rod ends for both the banshee and the raptor are completely replacable.

Now, as for the ball joint on the a-arms, unless you have aftermarket a-arms, they are not replaceable. (The only notable exception I can think of to this is the '87 Warrior, which did have replaceable ball joints.)
