Any Xplorer 400 Owners Use HPD Trail Pipe?
#1
I just got a hpd trailpipe, and was wondering who else is using this? What were the gains suchs as low end or top end, whould you top this off with clutch kit? And last what other mods you have with it. Plus I was wondering, I have k&n Air Filter and Air Box Mod, with the pipe what jet should I use, mine stock is 210, they recommend 260 for pipe, but with K&N and air box should I got 280 or 290?? Last question, what did you find being the easies way to have access to install pipe, the pice that connects to header is crampt down there, where exhaust first enters the pipe. Thanks for your help!

getting your factory pipe off is easy because it is two piece..you have to take the screws out of the front fender where it bolts to the floor board..and then with some elbow grease it will fit..before you put it in you might have to loosen the ground strap that bolts to the top of the head and to the frame and push it towards the engine..you have a scrambler muffler dont you???if you have any more questions just send me a private message.
