Has anyone bought a set of the carbon fiber wheels yet? I was wondering what you thought about them, how they are holding up, how long is the waiting list and how was their service. Also do they come with a lifetime warranty? I know they are not supposed to dent and they say they will last a lifetime of racing.

I am also interested in the feedback. I sent them an email and they said the 9x9 rears are available and the 10x5 fronts are about 5-7 days behind.

I sent an e-mail about three days ago and haven't heard a thing. I also called but got the answer machine. I'm just tired of bent and dinged wheels that end up looking like crap. I'm not wild that they are black but if they are going to save me money not buying another pair then I may go for them.

I was planning on purchasing a set of 8x8 HiPer Tech wheels this winter, until I learned they don't make 8x8's.

The thing that makes those wheels attractive to me is that if you break a part of your wheel, you just have to buy that part, and not the whole thing! DSBuddy and a few other guys in here do have the 10x8's, and they seem to love them! One person in here that has them races MX, which is why I wanted them, and he said that they're holding up to stuff that have bent numerous aluminum rims in the past.

The HiPer wheels don't hold air all that well though. Since they are bolted together, sometimes air seeps out. Nothing to be worried about though. Your tire might go flat if left sitting for 3 or 4 days, which, my turf tamers do that already. They seem to be good wheels, and if they made 8x8's, I would have a set on my 250R
