Here is what the ad says for the Blaster, ATV Action Dec. 2001 :
MAIER MANUFACTURING
One-Piece Blaster Race Front
Get some fresh plastic for your '88-'02
Yamaha Blaster from Maier. Whats interesting
about this new plastic is that
it is a one-piece racing-style
front assembly in nine different colors
and come with a one year limited warranty.
The plastic retails for $118

Hope this helps, Chet

i have the issue you are talking about it says that it is way under powered its the honda rebel street bike motor.only with twin carbs. it looks like a 400ex and frame is a copy of a blaster.the prototype had works shocks on it but.... the mag said not to look for that on production models.in testing the clutch burnt out on it.they said a stock blaster would smoke it on the track.
