I am planning on replacing the 13 tooth (stock size) front sprocket with a 14 tooth to get a little more top end speed out of the ole 1990 Warrior. Seems I'm doing more "flat", fast type riding lately and I want it to be a bit more long legged. I'll be maintaining the stock size (40 tooth) rear sprocket. It's time to replace my chain as well (currently 98 link - stock length) and I was wondering if a 98 link chain will be long enough to accomodate the 14 tooth front sprocket??? If you have made this same change please advise.

I noticed that the stock size chain for the 87-78 Warrior is 100 link so info on a 87-88 may not be applicable.

I suppose I could just order a 100 link chain and then shorten if required...
