Do u realize that the atv part manafactures are riping us off on parts?
For example I just bought new rotors for my warrior for 110 dollars a peice but for my 1997 dodge ram new rotors cost only 50 dollars a peice and they have twice the amount of material as atv rotors. Next example i also just bought new high performence shocks for my dodge ram that cost 160 for a pair and they are almost the best shocks u can get but for my warrior i just got new work shocks for 425 that contain half as much material as the shocks for the truck and more then double the price. And mostly all the basic motor parts cost more for atvs then cars or trucks like pistons and etc. And another huge example is exhaust systems. For my dodge ram, i just got dual exhaust put on it and for the complete exhaust system containing all the pipes and mufflers it cost me 250$, but for my warrior i got an exhaust system on it that consist of a fmf power bomb header that cost 180$ and the fmf mega max muffler for 175$. So the complete truck exhaust system cost 250$ while the complete atv exhaust system cost well over 350$ with 20 times the less amount of material then the truck exhaust. And some other exhaust systems may even cost over 500$ for atvs!!!
DO u get what im saying?
These atv people are riping us off!!
Now what do u have to say about it?

I have to say your right about that. But cars and trucks are a necessity for us and 4wheelers are for play. But i'm not starting an arguement here just stating my opinion.

Its all related to quantity. There are ALOT more Dodge Rams (and other vehicles that uses the same rotor) than warriors. Same for exhaust systems. In cases like this, the more you make, the cheaper each piece is.

I paid $700 for a brand new long block chevy 350 v-8 from napa, east coast atv wants 3500 for a 400ex motor, think about that!

If you want good off-road racing shocks for a truck you need to pay over 1500 bucks each, on a quad you pay 1000 total for two... That seems about right.

I agree we get ripped off. You can buy stiffer valve springs with titanium retainers for a small block chevy 350 for $120! For my quad it cost that much and I only got 4 valve springs. Like my dad said for all the money I have into my quad I could have built one hell of a jeep. My friend got a custom exhaust built and installed on his firebird for $400. Thats with headers and the whole nine yards. He couldnt get true duals for it but the guy put in a Y pipe. Sounds like true duals and runs like true duals. I paid $200 for a pipe and silencer for my quad and it wasn't custom and I had to install it myself.

Fast453EX you also have to remember that quad engines come with the tranny's. Car engines don't.
