I'm trying to make sure my fuel level is right in the float bowl. The manual states to put a fuel level gauge on the drain tube, match "0" with float bowl/carb. mating surface. The fuel should be ".5" +/-1mm. I have no idea how far down .5 is from the mating surface. I still have fuel, now just dripping, coming out of the drain tube. I have adjusted the floats and the prob. is disappearing but I'm concerned that I am lowering the fuel too far and hiding the real problem. If anyone has one of these could you measure the distance from "0" to ".5". Any input would be greatly appreciated.
