Went out to start my Sportsman 500 in northern Minnesota, where it's been sitting in a detached garage in temps in the teens for 3 weeks. As always, it started right up. Full choke for half a minute, and off I went. So glad I sold the Griz last year. Had to have it on full choke for 15 minutes just to warm up that cold bear before it would even idle.

nice, so far in the 20's and teens, my scram only needs full/half choke just to get it started, then i hit the gas lightly once, then its ready to roll

Hey "WoodTick".....Don't forget, "Bears" hibrinate during the cold winter months.

My "old" Trailblazer 250 starts off about the same as yours. Turn on the gas, key, set the choke, and she starts right up. 15 seconds later, turn off the choke and away you go.......

My friends beat up '99 Honda 300 starts right up rain or shine, cold or hot. All he does is tap the starter every time and it's on. Don't know how that thing does it.
