I just got some 20in Sand Sharks for christmas and I love them. But i wondering is there a certain way they need to be put on. I mean when you are looking at the left tire and the scoop it pointing straight up should the right tires scoop be pointing straight up too or should the smooth part be facing straight up. I guess what I am tring to ask is. Shuld the paddles be scooping the sand togther or alternating? Or does it even make a difference.

Having them together will help you stay straight when accelerating, also it makes for a much smoother ride when you hit some hard ground. If they are offset it feels like your riding a horse.

I understand the reasoning in lineing up the tires, BUT what if you hit a decent jump and your left rear tire hits the ground first. You are still on the throttle so your right rear is still spinning until it hits the ground. When it hits the ground, it is not going to be in the same place as when it started, WILL IT???

this is what i was told allways stager your paddles so you allways having one with traction when you do start to wheel stand is does want to track one way or the other but that only happens to me when i am going up a steep dune and grabing ultimate traction so thats my .02 cents

ride hard ride often

Interesting theories.... Here's mine. It makes no difference at all except (as scramblerx mentioned) when on hard pack it is smoother if they are the same.

It doesn't make any difference how you do it. We used to line them up and take all kinds of trouble to do it "just right" and it the long run it wasn't worth it. Just put them on. When you hit the hard pack, slow down so you don't do as much damage to your tires as speeding along will.
