did you turn on the pitcock and make sure it has gas in the tankCheck the air vent line on your tank it could be pinched or melted together. One way to check this is loosen up the gas cap and see if it will start.Had this happen on my 400 sportsman.

I try that, I have a spark. when I go to start it up it sounds like It wants to but it never does I try it by hand and with the starter it just won't start. We clean the Carb put a new spark plug in . We even took the gas that was in it out and put fresh in. We check all the lines, we don't know what eles to check. Well thanks for help ftwflh.
Thanks

Hate to tell you this but you need to check the compresion of the motor.if its less that 100 it is time for a rebuild.but thats not that bad should run around 175.00 for piston, rings, gaskets and bore job.if you do it yourself.

You would be better off getting a piston and rings from where you get the cylinder bored at.I have found if they sell you the parts they do a better job at setting them up.All you should need is piston rings and topend gaskets.plus a bore job.youwill need to tahe it apart and check the clearance between the piston and cylinder, then mic both of them to see how much you need to bore and what size of piston.Good Luck
