Are the repair manuals that Chilton's makes the same or as good as the Polaris manuals? Have not actually seen a Polaris manual but would guess they are the best to use. How much are the polaris ones anyway?I'm guessing around $50 or so.I have seen the "off" brand ones for around $20-$25.Are they just as good? Any feedback wuld be greatly welcomed.

 

I paid $29.75 for my 96-00 sp 500 service manual 2 years ago and I hear they are still about the same. It has every bit of onfo that you would need in it. I would highly recommend getting the Polaris service manual it is well worth it.

 

Hey,GE4X4 I just bought the 2002 POLARIS sportsman 500 & 400 shop manual they have gone up in price $50.00 I wish I could have found one for the same price you paid a couple of years ago.

 

I payed $35 for the 2001 Sportsman 500 H.O/400 manual. Dealer wanted $60 but instead I called one of the Discount Polaris places in the back of a Dirt Wheels magazine.
