I have a honda 250r that I am installing a 330r cylinder on. I am going to replace the reed cage and don't know what works. I ride everything fron mx to dunes. The carb. that i am using is a 38x40 hv lectron. I also want to use the stock air box. So let me, know what you use and how it works thanks ----john

Both my Pilot and FL350 can use the same reed cage as the 250R although different from the factory. On the FL350, I am running a V-Force Delta-2 cage for a TRX250R. I noticed a very significant throttle response improvement as well as an improvement in over rev. One thing that is weird with the V-Force reeds is that the opening into the cage is a rectangle. Another guy I ride with enlarged this opening to an oval matching his stock Pilot intake. I am using an aluminum aftermarket manifold that had a round hole I blended to match the rectangle of the reed cage. Here are some pictures when I first bought the cage.
