3rd headlight on rubicon??
#2
Its real simple to do! I frequently carry big loads on the front rack so I need to shut off the light to stop the glare in my eyes. When you pull out the 2 bolts on the side of the headlight pod the headlight housing will come out. The wires are pretty short so you might want to lengthen them a little to make things easier. I drilled a small hole in the bottom of the pod (in a protected spot) for the toggle switch. Locate the hot wire going to the headlight, (there are only 2 wires going there and 1 is the ground) Cut that wire and run it to each side of the toggle switch.
Also I found that the upper light actually has 2 filiments, (a high and a low beam) but for some reason Honda chose not to use the low beam so it is not wired for use. If a guy wanted to he could wire that up too so the high and low would both work.
